In 1979, CompHealth was awarded a federal grant to organize short-term physician staffing services for needy areas throughout the western United States. These services were so successful that healthcare organizations across the country began requesting temporary physician coverage. The locum tenens industry was born!

We help with the general steps required to obtain a license, and navigate each board’s separate rules, regulations and requirements.
