We currently have an opportunity for Senior Project Leaders. These individuals will work with business users and IS to lead strategic projects within the company.


Responsibilities:

  • Maintains overall responsibility of selected projects from initiation through close.
  • Responsible for creating, tracking, and reporting the project schedule, both within the project team and to senior management.
  • Tracks and manages risks and issues during the course of the project to ensure project success with an emphasis on informing management of any issues.
  • Participates actively in the details of the business — participating in key project tasks when necessary and understanding the challenges the business is facing firsthand.


    Qualifications:

  • College degree required.
  • Five years of project management experience required.
  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • Demonstrated progressive leadership, organizational, analytical, and oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong facilitation skills, including leading meetings, giving presentations, and problem solving resolution/mediation.
  • Experience using Microsoft Project and other tools necessary to effectively manage project schedule and report progress to stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Expert, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and experience using Microsoft Access.
  • Project Management certification, consultant experience with a major consulting firm, and knowledge of the health care insurance industry preferred.
