The Business Development Associate will be responsible for providing sales support in an effort to promote SNBL USA pre-clinical and clinical services and opportunities. This position will have an opportunity to partner with Account Managers to proactively identify and establish lasting relationships with our valued clients.

Keys to success include: excellent communication and conflict resolution skills; strong analytical and interpersonal skills; self motivation; adaptability; time management expertise; ability to handle multiple tasks; ability to handle high level of confidentiality; team orientation; ability to analyze and recommend solutions to issues.

Key responsibilities include:

•Performs research via Internet, industry magazine etc., to identify prospective clients.
•Coordinates contact/meeting with prospective clients to present information regarding the pre-clinical and clinical capabilities of SNBL USA to obtain new business.
•Forwards client information/inquiries to Account Managers for follow up.
•Travels to professional meetings to present company information and generate new contacts for prospective business.
•Assists in developing promotional as well as advertising pieces and collateral materials.
•Distributes promotional and collateral materials to prospective clients gathered via research.
•Supports the client/contact database by including contact information, meeting notes, etc.
•Assists department with development of sales and marketing plan.
•Mails/delivers all required documentation as requested by clients.
•Contributes to developing and executing strategies that will increase the efficiency of the Client Services group by working with fellow group members as a team.


Requirements include:

•Bachelor's degree (B.Sc. or B.A.) with two to five years related experience and/or training in the biotech, pharmaceutical or CRO industry.
•Intermediate to advanced computer skills (i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) with the ability to learn new applications quickly.
•Previous experience working in a fast paced, sales orientated environment.
•Up to 50% travel may be necessary.
