Our Company has 385 employees at two locations and is continuing to grow due to client demand for our services. RESPONSIBILITIES
•Develop and document standardized data management methodology and practices across SNBL USA. Write use cases and develop process flow and diagrams. Document entities, relationships, and expected access patterns. Develop code specifications, test protocols and other data management documentation.
•Work with functional unit staff to capture query requirements, design and implement business reports and data management interfaces. Interview end users to understand their needs and assist in selection of suitable software and data management solutions.
•Design, develop, install, test and maintain data interfaces to Oracle, MS SQL, Access and other types of data repositories.
•Establish and utilize software development life cycle process and control procedures, including software source control, change history and revision control systems.
•Continually strive to improve the quality and efficiency of services provided by the Information Technology Department.
•Maintains Good Laboratory Practices, Information Security and Regulatory Compliance.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
•BS in Computer Science or related degree program
•Five years experience supporting information systems and customers, preferably in health sciences or BioPharma environments
•Should possess strong analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills with ability to perform the position essential functions, make decisions, prioritize and meet deadlines under limited supervision
•Knowledge and experience developing custom scripts, programs, SQL queries using common data management applications and tools, including Crystal Reports, Perl, Visual Basic or similar
•Knowledge and experience supporting Oracle or MS SQL databases and MS SharePoint Portal Server or similar product
•Requires application development lifecycle knowledge, expertise in HTML, Java, Visual Basic/C and SQL query languages
•Good documentation and project management skills are required
