Can someone help? I want so badly to get into pharmaceutical sales but have no idea how to do it! I have no previous sales experience but I was told that's okay. I'm willing to do anything and I'm looking for advice.
I graduated from college a little over a year ago and am looking to get my foot in the door. Does anyone have any suggestions? Similar experiences? How do I get started?
I am in the same boat as you, and my advice is to let everyone you know you are trying to get into pharmaceutical sales. Most people will just say "good for you", but the one person that says they know someone in the business jump on it. Get to know that person very well along with any leads you can get. Its all about networking. I told a friend I wanted in and he actually is great friends with a district manager of a very large pharmaceutical company.
